Location

We are located 5 minutes walk north-west of the metro line 5 Dongsi station.  Convieniently located just north-east of the Forbidden City, 10 mins walk west from Wangfujing shopping street and a 15 mins walk from Sanlitun bar street. From the metro line 5 Dongsi station, you can get to Tiananmen Square in 4 stops or travel straight down to the Temple of Heaven. The metro line 5 connects to all the important places of interest including the Capital Airport, Beijing Main Station, Summer Palace etc. Our hostel is also walking distance from the Forbidden City’s North entrance, and the famous JingShan park,where you can see amazing views of the Forbidden City from the hilltop pagoda.

Airport shuttle train to Dongzhimen subway to our hostel

If you take the Airport shuttle train to Dongzhimen subway station, then take the subway Line 2 to Yong He Gong, then change to line 5 and get out at DongSi station, this will cost 27 RMB.

Beijing Subway Airport Express-The ticket price for the airport express is 25RMB per person.

The subway ticket price for each person is 2rmb (you can travel to any stop on the subway system for the flat-rate of 2rmb, regardless of destination. Tickets can be purchased either from the ticket-counter inside the subway station or from the ticket vending machines, which have instructions and directions in both Chinese and English language).

From the Line 5 Dongsi subway station, leave by exit B. Cross over the foot-bridge and enter the Chinese traditional looking arch (the entrance is to the right of the Post Office). Walk straight along the market street until you see the big Changhong Cinema on the right (about 5 minutes walk). Then walk past the next big building, you will see a large ‘KTV’ sign on the corner, then turn right. The hostel is 50 meters straight on, just past the underground parking garage.

From Beijing South Railway Station

To reach our hostel from Beijing South Railway Station, it is cheapest to use the subway, following these directions:

From Beijing South railway station, take the subway line 4 three stations north to Xuanwumen.

Then change to line 2 and travel east three stations to Chongwenmen.

Then change to line 5 and go north three stations to Dongsi station.

The subway ticket price for each person is 2rmb (you can travel to any stop on the subway system for the flat-rate of 2rmb, regardless of destination. Tickets can be purchased either from the ticket-counter inside the subway station or from the ticket vending machines, which have instructions and directions in both Chinese and English language).

From Beijing West Railway Station

To reach our hostel from Beijing West Railway Station, the most convenient means of transport is definitely by taxi.

This taxi ride will cost around 35rmb. Please be careful to take a licensed taxi (i.e an authorized driver + taxi car) if you choose this option.

It is possible to walk to the nearest subway (Military Museum, Beijing subway line1), although this is not particularly convenient nor recommended especially if you are carrying heavy luggage or large back-packs, as the distance is quite far (a little over 1km walking distance), by following these directions: exit north from the railway station, crossing over Lianhuachi West Road. Then, walk north up Yangfangdian Road. Then, turn right and walk east until you see the Military Museum station.

Then change to line 5 and go north two stations to Dongsi station.

AIRPORT- From the airport

a taxi will cost around 100 to 130 RMB. Alternatively you can take the Airport shuttle train to Dongzhimen subway, then take the subway Line 2 to Yong He Gong, then change to line 5 and get out at Dong Si stop. This will cost 27RMB.
